Life Alert is famous for its commercials, featuring the slogan “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” Former Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop has appeared in commercials for Life Alert since 2004, stating that he wears one.

He’s surrounded by Secret Service at all times. It’s very unlikely that he will fall and break his hip, and no one will be nearby to help him.
He’s with people about 24/7, so he probably doesn’t see a need to. I would be more concerned about Palin harming our lives with her view of global warming. I think we need a life-alert for this planet if she takes office.
